I had so much fun last night.
I went to this party at westbrook commons. It was a little slow at the begining.. not too many ppl. Pete was there, so he amused emma and i for a good amount of time. then anne, chris, jon, joi, and brian showed up. Then alecia, danny and mark came. So we were all hanging out. It was great that emma could hang with my friends. Met some ppl in the major that i've seen around but never talked to. Really cool ppl.
I did have a first last night. The frist time i have ever smoked a cigar. It was so good. I believe they were called heavenly's. Pete had them, he discovered them while in New Orleans for spring break. Nickolas Cage was smoking them, and Pete asked, so he bought. So now i have to be careful because i can have a new addiction really soon O:-)
Toward like 1230, emma was getting tired and so was i, so i went inside to see if she wanted to go to pete's to see the kegerator, but she was talking to this guy. He was definetly an intereting guy. He asked us this question "if i had a rabid dobermine pintcher, a shot gun and a cheese truck, and i found out where you lived. I knocked down your door and put the gun to your head and told you that you had to eat a pound of cheese or i shoot you what kind of cheese would you eat?" it was so funny, and very creepy at the same time. So emma and i continued to speak to this weird guy. when all of the sudden ppl that owned the house were screaming, if you don't live in the house, you have to leave.
So i look outside to see if pete is around bc he lived close by and i wanted to see the kegerator, but the back yard was empty. So emma and i walked out the front door, passed two police officers. they stoped a guy in front of us, that was carring a case of beer. We just walked right past him. then it was quite difficut pulling the car out bc on the of the officers parked like right near her. She could pull out, but we had a couple of her friends that just showed up direct us. Thank god we didn't hit the car.
So all in all, it was a great nigh !

i'm really starting to get home sick. i want my mommy to cook my dinner, and do my laundry. i want home made apple sauce, and good dinners. i want to go to rulfs and get a home made pie, go to a football game. go to stowe and see the leaves.... the adirondacks are just so beautiful in the fall.... i need to go home....
rochester just isn't that nice.. well i bet there is some really nice parts and all. but if i went to like clinton comunity, i would get the best view in plattsburgh from a classroom. just so jealous, i'm paying how much, and they are in the most beautiful spot...

so yesterday i did come community service for SWE and honors. It was really amazing. these ppl were blind or couldn't walk or both.. and they were out having fun, and doing really well (most to all bowl better than me). I mostly helped this girl rebeka, she was 18, blind and dissabled. she was so cool, we talked about music and movies, boys and what not.
the whole experience was really awakening... it showed me once again how blessed i truly am. how we all are...

it's too early in the morning to be up.... but i thought that i should be productive and get paid for my job.
how are my classes you ask? well....

yoga is fun
and i'm loving my Industrial design class... so much that it's like.. should i change my major??
~now i know that that would be a bitch at this point in time, but i like the relaxed atmosphere. i forgot how much i always loved my art classes. the walk down memory lane makes me tempted to bring one of my favorite pieces back to school... hanging it on a riverknoll wall might be more dangerous than driving it back to school. is a 17"x24" colored penicl.. abstract landscape (etch-a-sketch).. that is framed... so the frame is huge with a large piece of glass. and it's heavy, so i would have to find a stud in the middle of my wall and put a nail in. then wire up some fishing line... it's complicated and needs mulitple ppl. maybe some day i'll bring it to school....
my drawings for the ID class are decent.. considering that i haven't picked up a pencil in over 3 month. i'm proud of some of my designs... kinda making it hard on myself by inventing each thing... but i hate still lifes. It takes me forever to get them perfect, and i only have one more day left. so i take the easy route, do it from memory, that way everything is a creative mistake. hehehe
the only drawback to this class is that it's on a friday, and i want to go to this leadership conference in october for SWE.. and i would have to miss class.. and since there is only one class a week, i would get extremely behind. considering that i'm from outside the department, i can't really gain their respect if i take the class lightly (hoping to just have free play with everything they have).
that and a whole lot of other shit is giong on with me right now... more will insue.... the weekend posts are coming, and i'm sure there will be tons to tell!

i just realized that over the weekend, i got home the morning after my adventures.. therefore all the days are wrong.... when i refer to today...
anyways.. sunday afternoon, we all went with joi when she got her tattoo. it was so cool, she didn't even seem to mind it. i would not be able to do that at all. i've been thinking about getting a tattoo, but i don't know about whether or not i'll be happy with having something on my body of the rest of my life. so then i was thinking about getting my tounge pierced. since i smile a lot, it would be seen a lot. but then yeah.. the possiblity of ruining my teeth is much more prominent then the coolness of a tounge ring..
so i'll just keep the earings for now.. might upgrade later :-)

today was an interesing day
joi, anne, julie, ying, cory, jon, chris and i all pilled into cars to go to extreme graphics on dewey ave.. well aparenlty it's really ghetto, and so dirty and old looking... we didn't particualy want to get any work done there.
so we all when to grinder tattoo on west henretta road. anne and chris got cartalige, i had my lobes done, and joi made her apointment for tomorrow.
then chris, jon, anne, myself and jason went to my phi sigma pi party.. there were tons of ppl that we didn't know, and all hot and crowed... so we skipped out and went to the sig pi party. that was great. but what i learned is that parties aren't good for meeting new ppl when you are in a big group....
then when jason droped me off i noticed that there was this huge party at triangle, so i went over to see if i knew anyone there... i found korine and jazzy. i went back to my place, got changed into more skimpy clothes and went over to dance. what a blast. met some AEPi guys, who did know zac (guy that i worked with at GP). saw some other ppl i knew and met some new ppl.
now it's late and time to go to bed. i have to do some hw tomorrow O:-)

ok so this has been a busy week.
wed.... came home from SWE and hw time, to a full house, and a drunken roommate and bf.... stayed up till 315 talking to jason... it's his fault, and went to bed
thrusday.... made jason dinner bc i'm nice, where in return he got a ticket from campus safty, what jerks!
friday.. now here's a wild day
9-12~class... went to the wrong room and building for my notetaking class.. super embaressed!
12-1~ meeting for SWE about getting office space in CAST or CIMS
1-2~ SWE meeting where i had to talk in front of a lot of ppl
2-5~ Industrial design class... long but a lot of fun, and i'm really excited about it!! :-D :-D
5-630~ go home, change, go to wally world bc jason called my cell and talked away all my mins... well the 10 i had left hehe, then over to jason's to activate my mins and chat
630-9 ~ matt, mike and carson's picnic, where a lot of brother's were drunk and telling really funny stories.. of past drunkeness... drunk frisbee, and drunk standing.. i got tired and what not so i went home.
10-12~ anne, chris, jon, jess, billy, and bethany's friends + alexis comes over to chill and have fun with drinks of nature which i'm too young to buy :-), so much fun with 15 ppl in a riverknoll apartment!!
12-1 ~ Denny's!!!
1-2~driving back to campus where we were pulled over by a cop, who claimed that our headlights were off, which in fact they weren't.. he was just trying to catch us on other charges
2-3~ over at emma's where we went to a perkins party, where apparently the cops were breaking up, but when we were sneaking out there were no cops in sight... hahaha oh well, we didn't even get close to a drink O:-)
3- now... while typing this out, i can here my neighbors having sex.... not cool.....
tomorrow will be interesting too, but that will have to wait to be told :-D

our house is becoming a home :-D
we have our couch and posters up. we got this vintage, 70's-esk, french theme going on downstairs. it's really suprising that all this random stuff has pulled together so well!
i called my parents today and my mom was bitching about all the money that is being spent, and all the work i'm doing on the house. she still wants me to move in the "cushy honors dorm" so that everything will be done for me. but honestly, living in riverknoll is really coroperating with me. it's tapping into the nurturing side of me. i like making sure that everything is in order, we have food, the trash is taken out, the house is clean... etc... it's going really well. we will of course hit bumbs in the road, but i believe that having our own rooms is going to help the situations... avoiding ppl and whatnot :-D
living here so far is really good for me. the best decision i've made in a long time
ok, so this has been an ... idk what to call it... intense, interesting, exhausting, amazing, wow... week.
we have internet, all thanks to some good friends of mine, beacuse my computer illiteracy is just embaressing.
also i have a printer now, all thanks to an old and a new friend. :-) bc i don't have a SAM's card.
a lot of partying this weekend.... starting thrusday night and all up to this morning.. and then probably a little bit tonight with the roomies.
the house is coming together, we are going to start decorating soon, and we are going to get the couch today. beth's mom bought us this nice butchers tabel and a nice little cabinet thingy so that we can put our phone on it.
but the one thing that amazes me the most is how nice it is to walk around campus or go out on the town and see all these ppl from last year. i absolutely love it, but unfortunetly my cell phone and lack of minutes isn't keeping up with my social life.. i'm going to see what happens come class time, but i might just have to get a new cell phone and a service plan... now only to convince the parents.
this year is already turning out memberable and fantastic!!
