I try to be good, and follow world events, and this struck me as interesting...

http://www.cnn.com/2005/WORLD/europe/01/17/eu.nazi.ap/index.html

This is an article saying that because Prince Harry decided to wear a swastika to a costume party, the European Union is now going to hear more discussions on whether or not to ban the use of the symbol. The fact that they are planning on banning the symbol of the nazi party is not what bothers me.... idk... i guess what i'm refering to is a concept of not turning your back to what is horrible in the world. for instance, if someone bans saying a word or doing a thing, or going to a place, then ignorance of the "noun" will spread. Fear, hatred, and wide use of underground bad asses that want to be cool by breaking the rules. I don't think that we should ban the symbol, we shouldn't embrace it... but we should learn from it. i'm not thinking about my generation but generations afterwards that would not be aware of that the swastika means or what it ment. That is my two cents on the subject.

So today, i got my first offer for a co-op!!! It's at Vermont - Yankee Nuclear Power plant in Vernon, VT. I'm really excited abou this, i'll be living in VT, near Boston for at least 6 months.. possibly 9 if i like it. i can't believe that it has happened so fast, i've always heard all these stories about how companies wait till the last minute to get back to you. i hope that everything works out well for this.

Here is a link to the company site...

Ok, so RIT needs to change some things....
1. make it easier to get our money back for roadrunner
2. co-op search a little less painful and no i'm not talking about another class with the dinosaur.
3. stop sucking
4. more vacations for sanity
5. stop sucking
