I walked into work the other day and someone cut out the actual comic and taped it to my computer screen hahahaha.

wow it has been a while. well there really hasn't been much to write about. work has finally sucked up my life. i just got off of a 60 hour work week, and after my one day off i'm starting my 72 hour work week. i've come to the realization that i probably won't be able to fit everything i have left here in brattleboro into my car when i move back to the ROC in a month. I'll have to priority pack... pack underware first and my collection of cosmo mags last. that will preaty much determine what will go to the trash or be donated to the brattleboro community.
i am trying to take advantage of the last of my time here. yesterday i finally went to springfield, MA to go clubbing with some new aquaintences. We hit up hooters for some food (it was ok...) which the service took forever. After that we hit up the hippodrome, a dance club, http://www.hdrome.com/. If you peruse the photos and the photo tour, the place is just amazingly beautiful. it would amazing to have like a prom, banquet or a special event. standing there i wish i had a beautiful glittery gown on to match the decor.. but that is just me. the crowd there wasn't the best, so after downing a lot of alcohol (my first tequilla shot, which wasn't that bad, and a couple long island iced teas) we headed out. We walked in the rain to go to another night club, Rain, http://www.rainspringfield.com/index2.asp. This one had a much better crowd. more dancing and better music. after dancing all night, and some "water" (whiched turned out to have vodka in it), we headed back to the car to go back up north.
only one person threw up on the way there, and he was the one talking shit saying that us girls couldn't keep up with him. we def drank just about the same as the other person... so i guess that joke it on him. it was def a fun night, hitting up some random dinner in some random town in MA was a good end to the night. i love how my one day off from work is a saturday night! next week... the halloween party.

I swear. Thank goodness I wasn’t peering out my window when this happened (I live on main street… 4th floor though). Idk what to say about this…
Oh back to work this week. It has been very relaxing considering that on Monday everyone had the day off but me… so no one was around to bug me with meaningless tasks. And since this is a Friday off week, I get a nice long weekend before I start putting in 60-72 hours a week at work.
But unfortunately I’m fighting a cold that I got while visiting Rochester, with their cold, windy, rainy weather. To make matters worse, New England is flooding out, so this whole week has been damp and rainy…. Good way to help a cold get better right?
Nothing much else is going on with my life. Thinking about the future, what I should be doing after I graduate; grad school, starting my own business, finding a job like the rest of the world? It’s kinda scary to think that at 21 I have to start planning the rest of my 20’s. if I do grad school, I won’t be in the real world till 2009.. That is almost the end of the decade! I’ll be in my mid 20’s. If I start my own business, I could fail, and loose a lot of money, or I could succeed, but the workaholic in me will probably take over and I won’t have a life till at least 30. If I get a job like everyone else, I could pick the wrong job and be miserable till I find another job, where I would probably be miserable. Or plan D, get married and have kids… but I got to find a guy first…
This is going to be interesting.

this past weekend i drove home to rit for homecoming. (appropriate don't you think) because it was such a jammed packed weekend i'll highlight the fun.
- picking up shelby at rpi
- driving 70 mph on I-90 with shelby half out the car fixing my windshield wipper in the rain (she got a little wet). "don't get into an accident right now ok?" ~shelby
- jason mraz concert that was awesome because he rocks!
- some beer pong where i actually didn't suck all that bad but we still lost.
- hanging with the brothers at the rush bbq
- rudy guiliani spoke on leadership (it was a must see)
- realizing that the lasuanga took 2 hours instead of 40 mintues, so rushing to wegmans to get food to eat
- john stewart was hilarious!!
- best moment of john stewart was when he was making a statement on how religions are stupidly seperated and how people are willing to kill in the name of god, how people are blindly religious and how people now really don't get holidays. he was saying how easter, which is to celebrate christ's reserection from the dead turned in to pastel eggs that we hide. then in the crowd some guy, who turned out to be one of the security guards hired to protect john stewart, threw something onto the stage (supposedly a badge or nametag) and yelled out "christ is my light". john stewart just looked at him, smilled and said "you just proved my point". then moved on to a joke about his cat in heat. hahaha
- throwing the biggest party my house has seen yet, that didn't end till 530 am. (lonesome cowboy, lonely columbian, magic tricks, latin dancing, a lot of people we don't know, making new friends, hanging out with old friends, and a log of a lot of beer)
- getting out of bed in time to get back home sunday afternoon.
now i'm at work, throat sore from screaming over music, nose sniffling from all that rainy weather, and counting the mintutes till i get back to school.

I just realized how long it has been since I last wrote. Honestly I hate to say, that not much else is going on in my life. This small little Vermont town isn’t much on excitement; it does have its weird moments, but not the typical fun that I find when I’m back at school.
For instance, I had last Friday off, so I decided to go do my errands. I’m driving back into downtown, when I notice something a little different. Ok, first you gotta remember where I am. Think trees, hippies, and white. Diversity isn’t the first thing that pops into my mind when I think of this town. So I see this woman, black, dread locks. She looks familiar to me, so I inch my car a little bit further up (I’m in traffic) and I look over and low and behold. It is Whoopi Goldburgh. I couldn’t believe it. I’ve been living here for 7 months and I always hear these stories of people meeting her, or that she comes into town to go to the bar or bowling, etc. Now I can finally say I saw Whoopi Goldburgh.
The leaves are not to their full luster yet. I’m kinda glad though because originally I heard that this weekend was THE weekend to go leaf peeping; which sucks for me because I’m not going to be in Vermont this weekend. Hopefully in a couple weeks I will get to see what the Vermont trees have to offer.
My coop is winding down, I’ll be back at school in 6 weeks, 4 of which I will loose because I’ll be working 60-72 hours a week at work. Time flies when you are not paying attention to it.
